We have several fundraising opportunities this month.

· The Entertainment Books are still available. Each
book sells for $20 and the students’ account will receive
$10 towards their trip.

· Another fundraiser for the students’ accounts is the
Blue & Gold products sales. Be sure and contact all
the people who bought last year. We always have
people looking for this sale because the products
are so good.

· In addition to this, we continue looking for those letters
from the students for that letter writing campaign.
Any money from this fundraiser is for our
general fund. Please check with your student and besure they have turned theirs in. If for some reason
you never received this information please contact
Therese Dawdy at 794-7433 and she will be
sure and send you another package.

· Last but far from least is the Dodge Truck Giveaway.
This is a wonderful way for someone to win a
new 2008 Dodge Mega Cab Truck. A $5 donation
to the band will get you a chance to win the truck.
In addition to the chance you can take your stub to
East Tulsa Dodge and get a free T-shirt while supplies
last. So be sure to get your chance early so
you get a shirt. We get to keep 100% of this fundraiser
for our general fund.

Please contact me with any questions you may
have on fundraising, Therese Dawdy 794-7433 or email
me at ‘thedawdy@cox.net’

In an effort to provide parents and band members every opportunity possible to meet their obligations through fundraising, AND support the band at the same time, the boosters are working hard to provide a number of opportunities throughout the year to raise money. Please familiarize yourself with all the currently running campaigns listed above and check back often for new information. Opportunites, important dates, etc., are publicized on the home page. Band members are given ample information in class to bring home. Ask them frequently if they have been given forms. And encourage them to sell too.

Please be as active as you possibly can to help the band raise what it needs as the year goes by. Band enriches your child's education tremendously and is worth every penny, every minute, and then some. There are several current fundraisers that you can already be working on to pay your fees and support our kids.
